When you wish to receive or use services on this website – such as news, videos, to upload your work, and as SMRI Productions members – you will be asked to submit personal information, such as your name and email address.

Visitor information

When you visit SMRI Productions, the pages you see are downloaded to your computer, along with a text file called a cookie. Each website on the internet can send its own cookie to your browser if your browser’s preferences allow it but, to protect your privacy, your browser only permits a website to access the cookies it has already sent to you, not the cookies sent to you by other sites.


SMRI Productions uses cookies for two purposes:

We will hold your personal information on our systems for as long as you use the service you have requested, and remove it in the event that the purpose has been met, or – in the case of SMRI Productions membership – until you no longer wish to continue your registration to SMRI Productions. For safety reasons, however, we may store messaging transcript data (including message content, member names, times and dates) arising from the use of SMRI Productions. Personal information that is held for people who are not yet registered, but have taken part in other SMRI Productions services (for example, email notifications), will be held as long as necessary to ensure that the service is run smoothly. We will ensure that all personal information supplied is held securely, in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.


Accessing your personal information

You have the right to request a copy of the personal information SMRI Productions holds about you and to have any inaccuracies corrected (we charge $5 for information requests). Please address requests to:

4. Disclaimer

a. The materials on SMRI Productions’s web site are provided “as is”. SMRI Productions makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties, including without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights.
